The Italian energy market requires flexibility in operation, especially in the southern part of the country where the high penetration of renewables may imply constraints on generation. This project aims to provide security and such flexibility to the system at the distribution levels.
This pipeline comprises 30 projects, each with a capacity of 9.9 MW and four hours of energy storage. All projects are currently in the origination phase, are located on industrial land within 500 meters of existing distribution substations, and are expected to reach Ready to Build (RTB) stage in Q4 2026.
