STANDALONE BESS PROJECT. 9,9 MW x 4h
The Italian energy market requires flexibility in operation, especially in the southern part of the country where the high penetration of renewables may imply constraints on generation. This project aims to provide security and such flexibility to the system at the distribution levels.
The project has a secured grid connection point (STMG Q1 2025), with 250 meters of underground interconnection at 20 kV. It is located within an industrial area, and the land has been secured under a purchase option. The project is currently at Ready to Build (RTB) stage.
